The Federal Hill Commerce Association recently gathered at the Hilton Hotel for a wonderful evening with dinner and entertainment by Leslie Anderson. Our new mayor, Angel Tavares, was among the attendees. The association wishes to thank everyone who contributed to the silent auction that was held to raise funds for the beautification and marketing of the Federal Hill area. Although the “Hill” is occupied predominately by restaurants, boutiques and art galleries, the Federal Hill Commerce Association is a non-profit organization that depends on memberships, grants and donations to fulfill its purpose. One of the major fund-raising events is the famous Columbus Day Festival held every year over the Columbus Day Weekend.
