Culinary Events to Welcome Basketball Fans and Honor San Giuseppe

The Federal Hill Commerce Association has announced two new Culinary events designed to welcome the NCAA basketball fans coming into Providence and Celebrate the feast of San Giuseppe (St Joseph’s). These events are designed to showcase a variety of culinary talent from Federal Hill restaurants and are open to public for anyone to enjoy.

The events begin on Thursday, March 17th at Garibaldi park located adjacent to the Arch on Atwells Avenue. From 12- 5pm attendees can enjoy a variety of selections from Roma and Biergarten. Music will be played by a DJ from the Omni stage.

The second Culinary event will take place on Saturday, March 19th honoring San Giuseppe day. Acorn street will be closed between Atwells Ave and Spruce Street hosting a block party from 12-8pm. The block party will feature food including traditional Zeppole, beverages and alfresco dining seating from; Tony’s Colonial, DaVinci Ristorante, Roma, Harrys Bar & Burger, Café Pazzo and Biergarten. From 12-6pm a DJ. The blessing of the Zeppole will be done at 12pm when the block party opens. All of Federal Hill is excited to welcome basketball fans and celebrate San Giuseppe with them.
